The Film & Television Institute is the premier professional development centre for independent screen production & events in Western Australia.

A member of Screen Development Australia, FTI provides an alternative pathway to the film and television industry through education, exhibition, equipment and production resources and is supported by its membership, corporate partners, ScreenWest and Screen Australia.

South Australian Film Corporation


The SAFC provides financial assistance for the development and production of films and videos, promotes the South Australian film industry and its services, develops the creative talent base, and operates production and sound mixing facilities. The studio and sound mixing theatres attract business from the rest of Australia and overseas and include production offices for independent production companies. South Australia offers a payroll tax exemption based on the economic benefit to the state.


Screenaction is the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Office of Film, Television and Digital Media. screenACTion aims to advance the capability and professionalism of these industry sectors in Canberra and the region, and to promote the ACT and surrounding area as a filming location. The agency liaises with organisations and persons of interest to the industry sectors.

Screen Tasmania


Screen Tasmania aims to foster, develop and support screen-based industries within Tasmania, as well as to attract interstate and international productions and participation. The agency administers funds for creative content, development and production of film, television and multimedia by implementing specific programs, promoting these programs to the industry, and guiding applicants in their submission preparation.


Arts and Screen Industry Support provides funding to arts organisations, development opportunities for creative expression, support to festivals, grants for arts and screen projects and training and development opportunities for film makers and artists. It aims to provide access to the Northern Territory’s natural and social heritage, support artistic development and provide a link to national and international cultural data, enhancing opportunities to be informed, entertained and inspired. This access is also provided through the Araluen Centre at the Araluen Cultural Precinct.

Northern Rivers Screenworks

Northern Rivers SCREENWORKS is the screen industry office for the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales, Australia, serving creative practitioners in the film, television, video, and digital media sectors.

New South Wales Film and Television Office

The FTO offers support for project development, production finance and industry and audience activities such as festivals, conferences and training programs in New South Wales.
