Victoria Wharfe McIntyre

Victoria Wharfe McIntyreWriter – Victoria Wharfe McIntyre is a graduate of Australia’s Monash University, where she received a Bachelor of Professional Writing with a double major in Drama and Cinema Studies. She attended London’s Blake College studying film and video production and trained at the Guildhall in voice and performance. She has a Bachelor of Social Science Award in Psychophonetics (Steiner-based art therapy) and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy. She is a member of the Australian Writers Guild and the Media Arts Entertainment Alliance.
Victoria has worked on a variety of community, commercial and documentary projects on the web and in theater, film and television. She has written and co-written several short films including Blood on the Chandelier with Jeffrey Norris, which was nominated for an Australian Film Institute award. Her most recent short film The Telegram Man staring Jack Thompson, Gary Sweet and Sigrid Thornton has just won Best International Film at the Washington DC GI Film Festival and has screened at several Academy Accredited festivals around the world. Her feature film scripts include: Horrie’s War, Father to Son, Clara, Sky Warriors and Convergence. She has a feature script for Indie LA company Four Stars International in development and is currently working on two feature film projects with noted Australian producers.
