National Film and Sound Archive

National Film and Sound Archive National Film and Sound Archive Research Centre and Library The National Film and Sound Archive plays a leading role in preserving and collecting Australia’s film, television and sound heritage. The Archive collection includes books, journals, CD-ROMs, films, videos and sound recordings, as well as photographic stills, posters, lobby cards, publicity material and press clippings.
The National Collection of Screen and Sound catalogue is available online and includes more than 400,000 items. Reference staff are in the Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney Offices. Research Services: the first 30 minutes of specialised research is free after which a fee of $54 (including GST) per hour is charged.
